Week 12

G'day all this is week 12 and we learnt about social networking and virtual worlds again these are sites i might not use regularly but i do have a face book page. one of the more interesting things i learnt was that our library has its own twitter page with lots of useful links.this was our last week and i must say despite my scepticism i have learnt many useful facts and been introduced to a host of sites i would never have been aware of if it was not for this site and my good friend Claire who helped me over the last few months

Week 11

G'day every one this weeks lesson was on Google docs. This is a very interseting site and I think it is something that i will be able to put to use not only in my personal and professional life. I was able to send a party invitation to the State Library

Week10 Mashups

G"day again Today we learned about mashups. We visited Flickrmaps and hugelabs.com as you can see i was able to upload a wonderful picture calander featuring Geoffs beach .I dont know were Geoffs beach is yet but i'm hoping to find it one day.

Week 8&9Answers boards And Podcasts

G'day again Today we visited yahoo answers .I found this site amusing , some of the questions asked are quite funny and irrelevent. This is a site i think i will be visiting again.Podcast was the subject of week nine this is something i had looked at before and found a little bit difficult as i thought you had to subscribe to itunes to use but after to-days lesson this is something i will be adding to my RSS page Thank you LIVE LONG AND PROSPER

Delicious .com As an infrequent user of the internet i use favourites to store my most used site, but if you were a cyberworld person this site would be extremely useful especially with its ability to create and cross referance your own tags

G'day Ooops nearly forgot about this one This week we opened blogger accounts and learnt to use them As you can see i finally got the hang of it

Week 5

G'day everyone This time its all about wikipedia and wikis.I didn't have too much trouble with this one but seeing as I'm not really a cyberpace person I'd prefer face to face or the phone I don't think i will get too much personal use out of this one but it is a skill I'll have if needed

Week 4

G'day all This one's about RSS Feeds.I was a bit dubious about the benefits of this site but after setting up my own page I discovered how easy it made accessing my favourite web pages I like to keep up with news items so i used yahoo as my server for my RSS

Week 3

G'day again this week we learnt about Flikre. I found it a bit difficult at first but with some practice and help i was to was able to use the site. The pictures and links were fun and interesting.
